About Me

I think it is always so interesting to hear other people’s stories, so here is mine…

I have experienced first hand the dramatic effect that dietary change and a healthy lifestyle can have on overall wellbeing. I travelled a lot in my 20’s and became very run down. My diet was terrible. I was fatigued, anxious and I kept falling ill. I needed help. Medical doctors and tests kept telling me that I was fine. On paper everything was “normal”. So I looked further afield. That is when I discovered the world of complementary therapy and the course of my life changed.

I visited a Nutritional Therapist and cleaned up my diet. I discovered and treated a candida infection. At this point I became functional again and started training to become a therapist myself.

Over the years I have used myself as an ongoing case study and through striving for continued improved health I have found out even more about my own potted health history… I’ve had various gut issues, chronic viral infections, toxicities including mould and mycotoxins, Lyme disease and environmental sensitivities. I even had a gum infection that never caused me any pain but that was causing huge stress for my whole body. There are many things that can drain health and vitality and I feel that I have had personal experience of many of them!

I have learned that there are always connections to be drawn for whatever is going on in the body. For example, toxicity will deplete the immune system which leaves the door open to infection. Add to that emotional upheaval, poor diet, environmental stressors and you have a recipe for failing health.

I qualified in Nutritional Therapy in 2007 from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition. I am a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and the government recognised Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

I am also a Coach for the internationally renowned Metabolic Balance® Weight Management programme.

I have trained with the Association of Systematic Kinesiology. Kinesiology is a holistic therapy using the body’s bio-feedback mechanism through muscle testing to gain information about the client.
A huge leap forward in my own health journey has come in recent years in the form of Bioresonance therapy, so I have since qualified as a Certified Bioresonance Practitioner according to Paul Schmidt. Bioresonance is an amazing tool for digging deeper and determining a route forward in even the most complex cases.

I am a Reiki practitioner and offer reiki sessions combined with Far Infrared therapy. Far Infrared pairs perfectly with reiki to provide comforting warmth and to calm the nervous system, stimulate blood flow, boost the immune system, and enhance detoxification.

In Practice

I have discovered all these therapies through my own personal experience initially. They have all been a part of my own healing journey.

I practice from a lovely clinic in Leamington Spa. I see clients of all ages, male and female. Health issues are diverse, though I do find that digestive problems, fatigue, hormonal and immune issues are very common, and usually interlinked.

You should expect your appointment with me to be a thorough consideration of the underlying imbalances in your health. I will give you practical dietary, lifestyle, and supplement advice. I will also use my energetic testing methods as above to investigate underlying burdens and obstacles which may be preventing your body from doing what it should do naturally, which is to balance and be well.
